A Wall to Wall Thanksgiving

We kept our annual Thanksgiving traditions well intact this this year.  We opened the day with Macy’s parade (Siena loves a parade, but I think she prefers them more in person).  Followed immediately thereafter by the National Dog Show; Bella routs for the Aussies every year and this year the Aussie won it’s group but not best in show.  Then we headed out to dinner with the Carfioli and Gosswiller families.

These two wonderful families have shared this special holiday together and with us for almost all the years we have been in California.  As their children have grown older and gone off to college and beyond the annual gatherings have grown as significant others have been added to the mix.  No matter where they are, all the kids make it home for the holidays and it is always a wonderful time.  This year the gathering grew so much that the table had to be extended literally all the way from wall to wall. Only one way in and one way out at this table.
