Have you ever heard a lion roar? Yes, a real lion and a real roar. Well, if you have you know this, it’s loud, deep and ominous. We heard a lion roar at the San Diego Zoo today. It was only a few feet away and when it roared all three of us took note.
Each time we go to the zoo, Siena sees a little more. Today the animals all seemed to be on the move and that really helps Siena find them. She is now a pointer, so when she sees something she wants to share it with everyone around, so she points to the animals she sees. First it was the bears, Sloth, Sun, Grizzly, Panda, Spectacle, and Polar. Then there were lots of monkeys, elephants and giraffes. Of course we loved the ducks and the flamingos were quite eye-catching. But for today, the Lion’s roar was something to remember.
