Yes, things really are make-believe in TV land and Disneyland. Even the Christmas parade. No, the stars do not all flock to Disneyland on Christmas morning, put on a show and then go home to open presents with their families. Instead, they come to Disneyland the first weekend of November and create Christmas morning.
Knowing when it was we decided to go out and enjoy the taping of the festivities. We missed the performance by Big Bad Voodoo Daddy, but got there in time to see Selena Gomez lip-sync her Christmas song.
Nick Cannon was hosting the California parade and the taping took a few hours. No major changes from past years but a good show none the less.
We had a nice spot for watching the parade and Siena may even make an appearance this year as she was doing cameos for the cameraman standing across from us. She was ready for close up Mr. DeMille and she got it. Out of respect for all of you (who like us) will be getting up to watch the parade on Christmas morning, I have not included many pictures. I wouldn't want to ruin the enjoyment of watching the parade on Christmas morning.
