Each spring the San Diego Safari Park (formerly known as the Wild Animal Park) has a butterfly exhibit. This year we took Siena to see the Butterflies.
Our visit to the park started out with some fun interactive activities for Siena in a child’s learn and play area. We rode the carousel and visited the bird exhibits (duck, duck).
Then we headed to the Butterfly Exhibit. It is an indoor exhibit (for obvious reasons) and was filled with literally hundreds of beautiful butterflies. We were visiting the exhibit during its final week, so I can only imagine how many more butterflies it must have had in earlier weeks. Siena loved the colorful bugs in flight and we captured some lovely pictures and memories for our trip. We had another nice day at the park.
