Easter Fun at Irvine Park

On Saturday we took Siena to the Irvine Park to visit the Easter Bunny and participate in their egg hunt. It was a gorgeous warm Spring day and Miss Siena was ready to have fun. First up was the egg hunt. Siena collected eight eggs, most had candy in them but the special golden egg she found had a pony ride in it. Siena wasn’t quite ready for her free pony ride so she stopped that before it started but she’s more than happy to talk with and pet the ponies. Maybe later this Spring she’ll be up for a pony ride. We also took Daddy for a ride on the train through the park (it was his first visit) where we saw baby ducks on the pond, a sure sign that Spring is here. Mommy and Siena visited the park for the first time a few weeks ago with friends. It will be fun experiencing Easter again through our little girls eyes. She’s growing up so fast and looked beautiful in her butterfly dress and pink sandals.
