Shortly after Elizabeth’s spring break visit, the rest of the Swing family dropped into town to celebrate Easter with us. Doug, Jane and Robert made the long journey west and spent a week with us. It was a great visit and Siena loved having her family around her. As she is getting older she is getting a better sense of who everyone is and after a day she was completely comfortable with her new found family. She bonded quickly with Jane, loved playing with Robert and finally got comfortable with the man with the beard. I am not sure Siena loves beards, but she loves her grandpa.
The family visit was great fun and included some Disney time, Go-Kart racing, a trip to San Diego to see the seals and some Navy sights. It allowed us to share our Easter with our family (we always share it with our California family and we missed them this year), for the first time in nine years. As always, time with our family was too short and Siena went looking for them the day they left, but we look forward to seeing them again soon.
