Ladies and Gentlemen, the 2010 Automechanika Show is now officially closed. We just about had the booth torn down as they announced the closing of the show. The last day was tough. We were tired and the show attendees were predominantly consumers who were more interested in trying to walk off with free samples than anything else. We met with our largest distributor from the UK for a few hours and Lisa and Siena came to visit.
Today’s Highlights included:
• Managing not to have any of our prototype products stolen from the booth.
• Cake Pops from Molly Bakes in the UK – Cake pops are all the rage in the UK and they are delicious. They are about the size of a Dunkin Donuts, donut hole. But they are real cake, tasty frosting and a wonderful sugar candy decoration attached. I would put up a picture, but we have eaten them all.
• Siena playing in the booth and in all the neighboring booths for a while.
• Oh yeah and about 10 new leads.
Automechanika was a good show for generating leads and as of today 5 potential customers have already contacted me. Hopefully this will turn into some positive new business quickly. It was a great show for the company.
