Days 2 and 3 at the show were busier than the first day. We did some redecorating in our booth to get more products on display and worked hard to engage with many customers. We even got a little help from the US Department of Commerce who brought by a potential distributor for Saudi Arabia. Finally, my tax dollars at work for me! Additionally we met with current customers from Israel, Spain and Slovenia.
The world hot spots for these two days were:
• Greece – tiny country, economic crisis and a lot of folks looking for more to sell to make up for what an economic down-turn can do to a business.
• Eastern Europe – Lots of little countries that are finally getting their financial footing and ability to buy new products.
• Iceland – Don’t laugh, probably the biggest petro and auto retail in the country who could buy directly from us.
• United Kingdom – Another major retailer in the auto world interested in doing business with us directly.
In all two very busy days. Lots of follow-up to do after this show. Usually after 3 days we pack it in and head home, but not here, we are only at the halfway point and we are gearing up for 3 more days.
