Lost in the Woods

Every year the great Christmas Tree search brings us to tree lots around the area in search of the perfect tree.  As you all know, the perfect tree is any one you bring home and decorate with love.  So, we get the perfect tree every year.

This year was no different than any other and we landed on a great lot right out of the gate and bought 2 trees.  Seems our Christmas traditions are expanding with Siena's love of the holidays and for the second year in a row we have tree upstairs and downstairs.

In a "you only make this mistake once in life" moment we bought a flocked tree for upstairs as Siena had to have the tree with snow.  For those of you have ever gotten a tree sprayed with ground up white paper stuck together and mixed with glue, you know the "snow" ends up everywhere in your home rather quickly.  But yes, Siena loves it, so we have now now tried it once.

one of the best parts of the annual tree hunt for me has become the search for Siena amongst the trees.  It always produces a great holiday picture, and this year was no different.  Here is one of my new favorite Holiday traditions, Siena in the trees.  Pictures like this ensure that Lisa's dream of a plastic tree that we pull from a box in the garage each year won't be coming true anytime soon.
