Totem

The Grand Chapiteau is up and Cirque De Soleil is back in town. If you know the Porcelli’s, you know we love Cirque.  So one Sunday I surprised my girls with some last minute tickets to the show.

Totem is the latest traveling installment of Cirque De Soleil to come to town in the new Central Park.

Each time we take Siena to a show (I believe this was her third one) we are always eager to see her response.  Dark hasn’t always been a winner, loud is occasionally unnerving and fast-paced action has been hard to follow.

So, you might wonder why we keep bringing her back.  Well, it’s because one of these times she is going to love it.  This was that time.  Totem is a very kid friendly production, lots to see and some of it even made sense.  She liked the music, the acts were energetic and clowns weren’t too bizarre.

Now we listen to the music from the show and Siena tells us what was happening in the show.  When we drive by the park she sees the tent and asks when we are going to see the show again.  Once again she is mommy’s little girl, in love with something mommy loves too!
