Siena has a book written by Billy Crystal called I Already Know I Love You. In the book he talks about the first time he took his daughter to a movie and how he never looked at the screen, but saw the movie in her eyes and smile. Yes, that is exactly what happens when you are a dad and take your daughter to her first movie.

Lisa, Siena and our friend Daphne took Siena to her first movie, the new Winnie the Pooh movie. She did great, while the previews were too long, once the movie started, it was like someone turned on a giant TV. Siena nibbled on popcorn, made sure she sat with both mommy and daddy and watched almost the entire movie. She talked to the characters a little too, but she was completely captured by the movie and Pooh and his friends.

Yes, she knows who all the Pooh characters are and can call them by name. She enjoyed the movie and dinner afterward. It is best to go to the movies a earlier when you have such a young patron joining you, but it was great to share another new experience with our little girl.
