Dinner out was on our agenda for the low key day of our mini vacation. After a full day of playing and having fun, we headed to the beach for a wonderful dinner. The Beachcomber restaurant sits on the beach in Crystal Cove. A tiny place with really good food and an awesome setting.
Lisa has had breakfast there before and gives it high marks. We enjoyed dinner there and it was delicious. The food was paired nicely with a nice Pinot, crashing waves and my two lovely ladies. If you go, try the Truffle Mac and Cheese as a side dish. The wine list is tight but very good with one of the OC's best sommeliers (Michael Jordon, formerly with Napa Rose) picking wines. Casual setting, great food. I am looking forward to getting some breakfast there next time.
