Irish for a Day

St. Patricks Day brought us a new little Irish lass for a day.  Siena is learning more about how time flies and how her year goes by.  As such, she is now very engaged on what holiday comes next.  So we transitioned from New Years to Valentines Day to President's Day to St. Patricks Day.

This year she was very interested in partaking in the holiday spirit.  A soon as she hopped out of bed she dressed herself.  She was very worried about having something green to wear (mom and dad need to plan better next year so there are more options).  She got out her shamrock shirt, found a green skirt and of course paired that with pink boots.  Pink goes with everything.  A few shamrock necklaces and off to school.

After school she followed the trail of shamrocks around the house and found some gold chocolate coins and cupcakes the leprechaun left behind. So we have now added one more holiday tradition to keep up with, but seeing her smile and watching her have fun is all worth it.  Happy St. Patricks Day!
