Full Charged

The title of this post aptly describes our daughter. She is every day. But Fully Charged was also the name of the Ringling Brothers, Barnum and Bailey Circus show that came to town this year. As Siena is growing up she is also growing more aware of everything she encounters. The circus is something she had come to enjoy and she has had the poster for the show on her door for months.

Well the time finally arrived and we went to see the show. It was one of the last under 2 years of age freebies we will enjoy with Siena. Next year she gets her own seat. But this year she sat on our laps and we got to enjoy watching the show through her eyes once again. Since she is a little more active and not too into sitting still, we decided not to be part of the show this year. Based on her desire to see as much as she could during the pre-show festivities, this was probably a good idea.

Siena really enjoyed the show. She sat mesmerized by different parts of the show and found some of the others less interesting (I tend to agree Siena; horses running in a circle are a little dull). Things she found very interesting this year included the Tigers, Elephants, and high wire act. She likes the clowns and she found the man being shot out of a canon a little startling.

Siena had a great time and I see another annual family tradition forming. Since it was one of my childhood traditions to go to the circus each year, I am more than happy to share that with Siena as well.
