Our little Siena is continually reaching new heights. And I mean this quite literally.

A New Height
This weekend she reached a special new height; the height of another Disneyland measuring stick. Yes, it is official; Siena has met her second “I need to be so tall to ride this ride” goal. She is now over 35 inches tall (I have her at three feet). So she now is able to ride Gadget’s Go Coaster and the Matterhorn at Disneyland.

Gadget's Go Coaster
Since her dad loves a roller coaster, this was a momentous occasion. So,on Sunday August 14th, 2011, Siena road her first roller coaster. We started out with the Gadget Go Coaster in Toontown since the Matterhorn (mommy’s favorite Disneyland ride) is closed for renovations. As you can see from the pictures the very short ride featured moments of Whee! And moments of Oh No!

Oh No!

Whee!
Not sure she loved it, but she has now entered a new realm of amusement park adventure. As we all remember from our childhood, when you suddenly are “as tall as the hand” you can do new things. Siena has reached a new height and it doesn’t look like she is planning to stop growing anytime soon. Her next Disneyland goal is 40 inches. Then she can ride Splash Mountain, Space Mountain, Big Thunder Mountain, Tower of Terror and Soarin’ Over California. Oh boy, daddy sees some fun just around the corner now!
