This year Easter had a little extra special significance for our family as it was also out last service at Community Lutheran Church, our spiritual home base for the past 5 years. With the no longer new (he's been there over a year now) pastor Marty Jacobson leading our congregation, the church has been reborn and is flourishing with new members and the recommitment of the current congregation. The growth can be seen throughout the church but especially in the youth programs and community garden.
We journeyed up from our new home to enjoy the pancake breakfast and an egg hunt followed by a the Easter service. It was a wonderful Easter celebration. We enjoyed visiting with our friends and will miss CLC.
