Happy Easter

Christ is risen, he is risen indeed! Happy Easter.

This Easter has been a special one thanks again to our little girl. Our day began with a special delivery from a bunny sitting on the front porch. Since Bella would never let a bunny in the house, the Easter bunny has a tradition of leaving the basket on the front porch where Siena finds it each year. Once again the plan of leaving carrots and water for the bunny has paid big chocolate dividends.

After the bunny visit we headed to church. It was a beautiful and joyful service. Our church has a new pastor, Marty Jacobson, and he is helping bring new life to the church. After a wonderful service, we headed outside for week two of family photos. Lisa has taken on a special church project of creating a new church directory. The first step was finding the right software, the next one is shooting pictures of every church family and entering their contact information into the software. Data entry, no fun. Picture taking, lots of fun. With the help of one of our church teens, Cassie Allen, today the two captured many Easter outfits and the smiling faces of so many congregation members. With a few more weeks of work ahead, Lisa is doing an awesome job creating the new directory.

Siena partook in the pancake breakfast and Easter eggs hunt at the church. She did her hunt with the older kids and was a star at finding the eggs that came with special prizes. She did so good that she shared some with the other children so they could get prizes too. In the beautiful Easter outfit from grandma Gail, Siena was a lovely flower amongst the Easter flowers.

The traditional Easter dinner of a Honey Baked Ham and a relaxing day as a family made our Holiday wonderful!
