After a week in Orlando, you might think we would be all Disneyed out. Wrong. We headed back to the comfy confines of our local parks and got caught up with all the new things going on. California Adventure is under-going a major renovation and updating and we started there. Our goal was to see the Disney Junior show that Siena had loved so much in Florida. We did and this time we sat off to the side on benches versus on the floor. Guess what, you can actually see the show from there. Same show as Florida and Siena loved it again.
Then we headed to Disneyland to see the new parade. It is a great parade with a musical theme and all new floats. Bright, colorful and full of Disney characters, it awed our little one. We thought it was great too, but Siena really loves a parade. She danced, waved to her favorite characters as she identified them all by name and seemed unusually disappointed when it was over. I think seeing the parade is now going to become part of our regular Disney routine.
