Father's Day

Father’s Day 2011 was a special one. We celebrated at home relaxing together. Our Father’s Day weekend started with a trip to Disneyland. Lisa, Siena and I went to Disney with Kallie Heaton and her nieces Stephany and Kristen on Saturday. It was a fun day and Siena enjoyed the park. She is almost tall enough to ride more rides including Lisa's favorite, the Matterhorn. Just a little growth spurt more and she will become a roller coaster girl. A visit with the Princesses and some driving at the Autopia made for a nice day.

On Sunday we planned to relax at home and the day started with something very special. Siena woke up too early (around 5:00 am), but when I brought her into our bed to lay with us for a little bit she curled right up next to me and cuddled. And she kept doing that for the next 2 hours. She did the same thing again on Monday and this morning too. This might seem pretty normal, but Siena has always been more of mommy’s little girl when it comes to cuddling. But for Father’s Day this year she reached out to daddy and brought me a very special gift, a snuggly little girl.
