Through the Eyes of a Child

Okay, so I must admit there is one piece of being a parent I am looking forward to (much of the rest of it is kind of scary). That one piece is seeing the world through the eyes of child. I guess this is kind of scary too, but somehow enchanting.

Tara and Bailey Vance are visiting with us for a long weekend. So off to Disney we go, with midday breaks for Lisa, so she can enjoy the time there and elevate her feet. Anytime we are at Disney you get the usual cacophony of screaming and wailing of children mixed with the sometimes happy glow of seeing the mouse. So with sticky fingers all around us we ventured through an usually busy day at the park.
As we wandered around, I found myself noticing the look in the eyes of the children as they wandered the park. And there is the magic. You can catch a glimpse of what I am talking about in Bailey's eyes as we waited for the Matterhorn (Lisa's favorite ride).

Of course, I also had a chance to notice the look in the eyes of the adults with the children. So, a mix of scary once again, do these people ever sleep or rest? I guess we are about to find out.
