What Are You Doing New Years Eve?

With a little baby girl in the house, New Years Eve takes on a different feel. Instead of staying up late and ringing in the New Year at midnight, we decided it was best to do an East Coast New Years while living in the Pacific Time zone. So we planned or a ball drop at 9:00 pm one hour past our little one’s bed time, but early enough that she might make it (and she did, just barely, but she was there).

We were joined for our New Years revelry by Peter and Kristen Athans (with Grant and Sydney of course) and Kallie and Guy Heaton. Lisa prepared a scrumptious dinner and then we rang in the New Year with our friends in the East Coast time zone. We also rang in the New Year in the West Coast time zone, although in a somewhat more quiet fashion so we wouldn’t wake Siena.

New Year’s Eve has changed a bit with a baby in the house, but it was still a great evening shared with great friends.
